電玩改編電影《惡靈古堡》（Resident Evil）的女主角蜜拉喬娃維琪（Mila Jovovich）在今年初公布，第六部系列電影《惡靈古堡6：最終章》（Resident Evil: The Final Chapter）將在今年八月開拍，今天蜜拉則在Instagram上發布了一張前置作業的幕後照片，並且告訴觀眾們明天將要起身前往南非，開始電影拍攝的準備工作。

此片仍由保羅安德森（Paul W.S. Anderson）執導，將延續《惡靈古堡5：天譴日》（Resident Evil: Retribution）的故事走向，目前除了蜜拉喬娃維琪以外，尚未有其他確認的卡司公布，《惡靈古堡6：最終章》仍維持原先預定的檔期，將在2016年9月15日美國上映。
