史丹利庫柏力克（Stranley Kubrick）在 1980 年帶來的《鬼店》（The Shining）至今仍是許多觀眾心中的恐怖片經典，而在將近 40 年之後，同樣取材自史蒂芬金（Stephen King）小說的續集電影《安眠醫生》（Doctor Sleep）將在下個月初與觀眾見面，日前國外媒體也曝光了首波評價。
《安眠醫生》由麥可弗拉納根（Mike Flanagan）執導，故事描述成人後的丹尼除了要對抗自己的酗酒問題外，兒時在全景飯店的經歷也讓他留下了不小的創傷；在這期間，他得到了一個機會來使用自己的「閃靈」能力來幫助另一名女孩；由伊旺麥奎格（Ewan McGregor）、蕾貝卡弗格森（Rebecca Ferguson）主演，11 月 8 日台灣上映。
