改編日本科幻動畫《星際牛仔》（Cowboy Bebop）的真人版影集在 2017 年夏天釋出製作資訊後，去年秋天確定落腳線上影音串流平台 Netflix ，日前 Netflix 則釋出了幾位主要角色的演出卡司名單。
《星際牛仔》真人版影集將由周約翰（John Cho）飾演史派克（Spike）、穆斯塔法夏奇爾（Mustafa Shakir）飾演傑特（Jet）、 丹妮拉皮內達（Daniella Pineda）飾演菲（Faye）、艾力克斯哈塞爾（Alex Hassell）飾演威夏斯（Vicious）。
《星際牛仔》故事主要描述四人一狗的一幫賞金獵人在銀河中穿梭的冒險旅程，而真人版影集首集將由《雷神索爾3：諸神黃昏》（Thor: Ragnarok）編劇克里斯優斯特（Chris Yost）執筆劇本、執導過多部漫威影集的艾力克斯賈西亞洛培茲（Alex Garcia Lopez）執導，原動畫導演渡邊信一郎也將擔任顧問。
