[新聞] 資金不足，大衛林區正式宣布退出執導電視影集《雙峰》續集

上週我們報導了大衛林區（David Lynch）可能退出執導知名影集《雙峰》（Twin Peaks）的續集的消息，在昨天大衛林區在自己的推特上面正式確認了這個可能性，而最主要的原因是Showtime製作公司在這部影集上的製作費用不足，無法讓他呈現最好的作品。而大衛林區表示，Showtime仍然會繼續製作《雙峰》，他認為Showtime將會把這個影集呈現的非常棒，他非常熱愛這個故事，也希望《雙峰》會以不一樣的風格呈現在大家眼前。

Showtime也公開的確認這個令人難過的消息。

「我們非常遺憾在大衛的推特上面看到他自行宣布退出的消息，儘管我們認為彼此還在尋找解決的方式，Showtime非常喜歡《雙峰》的世界觀，我們仍期望可以找回大衛來執導續集，因為這部影集的榮耀是屬於它的創作者大衛林區與馬克佛洛斯特（Mark Frost）的。」
